“Prana Mudra – The Sacred Symbol of Life Force Energy
Prana Mudra is a sacred symbol used in yoga to balance the five elements in our physical body and harmonize our state of mind. The connection of the fingers creates a seal of Prana (Life Force Energy) within the body and works to remove any energy blocks. This specific mudra is believed to help improve vision and the mobility of the eyes.
How to Practice Prana Mudra:
- Bend your ring and pinky fingers to touch the tip of your thumb.
- Keep your middle and pointer fingers together and extend them out.
Practice this mudra during your morning or evening meditation. Start with what feels comfortable and non-judgmental, and aim to gradually build up to 10 minutes of practice a day.” – Sabrina’s Serenity Yoga
