Emotional Intelligence: What Is It? How Does It Affect Your Everyday Life? With Speaker Colleen Smith

Join us on Tuesday, May 9th!
4 PM BC / 5 PM Mountain / 6 PM Central / 7 PM Eastern / 8 PM Atlantic

Understanding Emotional Intelligence
Every day, we navigate a world of emotions. How well we understand our emotions and manage our behaviors can significantly impact our overall quality of life. But why isn’t Emotional Intelligence (EQ) more widely taught in schools, businesses, or self-improvement programs?

For over 20 years, books and articles have highlighted the value of EQ, yet it hasn’t become mainstream. In this session, we will dive into the basics of EQ and explore why emotional awareness and management are crucial life skills.
